Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI): Approximate driving time is 30 minutes and distance is 24 km (15 miles).
Driving directions from Grantley Adams International Airport: Narrow, unmarked roads and streets, numerous roundabouts, and heavy traffic along certain routes at certain times make driving through Barbados challenging. Guests renting cars should request a detailed map from the airport to the resort. Also, the Elegant Hotels desk at the airport can provide detailed directions.
Getting there: A taxi from Grantley Adams International Airport costs $26-$35 for 1-4 passengers. (Rates are set by the government and subject to change.) Although taxis are readily available, it's best to request a taxi at the Elegant Hotels desk in the airport. Car rentals are available online. Driving is on the left side, British- style.
Getting around: Resort staff call taxis on request. Public buses operate past the resort.
